Ruby is a Mastiff cross 1 year old. And at a whopping 69 lbs, it's hard to believe she's a puppy! But when this gal let's herself loose, all the months of being young that were robbed from her, bust out!
Ruby was rescued at 11 months old with a litter of 6 of her babies that were already 7 weeks old. She was starving and her condition was very poor. Thank goodness, with her scars barely noticeable now, you'd hardly see a trace of that life.
What's to love?? She just may think she's a small lap dog. She's often sitting on or trying to curl up in the cat bed. Some of her favorite things are walks, belly rubs, couch cuddles, the sunshine, squeaky and stuffed toys (she doesn't destroy them), sitting on the couch like a human, car rides and zoomies. Ruby LOVES k9 friends! She actually wore out a 2 year old husky, but is surprisingly lazy in the house! Ruby has shown absolutely no food aggression toward people or animals. Doesn't matter if it's food, treats or a bone. She loves love and has a very gentle way about her. She's fully house trained and listens to some common commands. Ruby is good with cats but will follow if in the mood. She can be called back from her pursuit. She is still a puppy without all that comes with a puppy. When she runs and gets the zoomies, you can see the smile on her face! Her ears flap, she tucks in her bum and just flies!!!
Sadly, Ruby is nervous around people she doesn't know, especially in her home. She seems to be less nervous outside while walking but still anxious. She'd benefit from puppy classes and a playmate! She seems less anxious when she has a brave friend with her. This miss is a bull in a China shop and could easily knock down a small child or older person when she plays, by accident of course. If the cat runs, she will give chase.

Maggie's Babes  Medium Size Terrier Mix Breed

Rufus-male medium sized mixed breed. Rufus is very sweet and loves to be handled, he is the snuggle bug of the litter, he is not a fan of the crate but is working on it as well as housetraining, and basic puppy manners. 

Millie-Female medium sized mixed breed. Millie is very sweet, and adorable, she has the cutest little grin .Millie can be a bit bossy with other dogs and would benefit from having some good socialization. She is doing great with crate training, as well as housetraining, and basic puppy manners.

Sky-Female medium sized mixed breed. Sky is very sweet, a bit on the shy side and independent, She is getting better with more handling. She is doing great with crate training, as well as housetraining, and basic puppy manners.

Zeus-Male medium sized mixed breed. Zeus is very sweet, a bit on the shy side and independent, He is getting better with more handling. He is very smart and learns quickly, He is doing great with crate training, as well as housetraining, and basic puppy manners.​
